The last Devil May Cry we got was a reboot of the original devil may cry which wasn’t that well received. While some liked and appreciated the change, most fans were devastated especially over the change done to the game’s main character Dante. But recently we’ve heard some news and boy will fans rejoice!
Not only is there rumors of a new Devil may cry V game in development, there is also news that the series will continue after Devil May Cry 4 and not the reboot! Leaked details have emerged of Devil May Cry 5 on ResetEra. It seems that the Sequel to the Devil May Cry series is Hideaki Itsuno’s secret project for Capcom. According to the source, Inside Capcom it is referred to as “Devil May Cry V” instead of using the standard numeric system as used in the previous games.

The next DMC Game is said to be released in March 2019. Our favorite characters Dante, Nero, and Vergil all three are a part of the game. And the main villain of the game is none other than the infamous ” Prince Of Darkness”Mundus. Devil May Cry V was planned to be announced in 2017 at the PSX event but got delayed and is probably going to be unveiled at E3 2018.
The game is going to have 3 playable characters, Dante, Nero and a third unknown player who is said to be very strong. The style system is going to be back and the hard lock as well. Environments will be much larger compared to the previous games, one boss fight proceeds go to different levels and the best part is that the game will target 60 fps on consoles.
Since Sony has a major role in the game’s development, it will be a timed exclusive, it will release first on Sony’s PS4 and after some time on the PC and Xbox One.
