You may have heard or even played the classic action-adventure game series Shenmue. If you loved it, there’s a good news for you as the first two titles are going to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One soon. Both games will arrive as a packaged deal with more enhancements on the mentioned platforms.

Both the games revolve around a teenage martial artist, Ryo Hazuki whose father got murdered and he is in pursuit of the murderer. You can say that these games set up the way for open world games. The games come up with day and night cycles, weather system, AI with their own schedule, and some other mini-games.

Sega while announcing the re-release of the Shenmue series said that both the games will remain true to their original story, with new features, such as scalable screen resolution, PC graphics options, choice of controls (modern or classic), and also the choice of original Japanese voiceovers or the English ones.

There is no release date or price available at the time of writing this article but they will be available soon both in physical and digital versions. Also, the third installment in the Shenmue series, Shenmue III is also releasing later this year. Hopefully, both old-timers will release before the latest installment so that players can get a chance to play the classic era game before the new modern title.
