There is some really good news for Hitman fans because we have reasons to believe a new Hitman 2 game is on the way. The official Hitman account on twitter sent out a rather intriguing tweet on June 4, that suggests there is going to be some kind of reveal on June 7. And is it a coincidence that on the same day that publisher Warner Bros. is holding a pre-E3 2018 reveal event?
The second tweet shown in this article is from the WB Games account, and you can see a race car with the brand “Hamsun” on it; that is probably a reference to the fictitious oil company in Hitman Season 1. A logo for Hitman 2 was also found on WB’s official website. So we are pretty sure that we’re getting a reveal of the new Hitman game this E3.

Hitman series was originally created and continues to be developed as of today by IO Interactive, which used to be owned by Square Enix before the company sold it off. As a part of the sales agreement, IO Interactive kept the rights to the Hitman franchise. In other words, Hitman’s original developer IO Interactive has regained their status as an independent developer after previously being owned by Square Enix.
While IO interactive and WB Games have spoiled the big surprise early right before E3, we still have high hopes that they are going to show us something that will blow us off the edge of our seats.
