Bigben and Frogwares Interactive announced their brand new The Sinking City at E3 2018. The game is said to be scheduled to release on March 21, 2019. During this announcement, they also released new screenshots and the trailer for The Sinking City at E3 2018.
The Sinking City is basically an action and research game that has an open world which is centered on the universe of Lovecraft. The player will be taking on the role of a private investigator named Charles Reed who is stuck on Oakmont Massachusetts in the year 1920, in a city suffering from unusual floods of a supernatural origin. Charles Reed is given the task to discover the source of what took possession of the city and the minds of its inhabitants.
In the game, you will be constantly monitoring the mental health of the character, in order for him to not go insane, and this is exactly what horrible monsters are trying to accomplish.
The Sinking City will go on sale on March 21, 2019, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
