Respawn Entertainment is most likely busy in making the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game. However, we have some information that implies that
What we know is that there are new job listings that indicate that Respawn is currently looking for staff members to develop Titanfall 3. There are all sorts of positions listed for Titanfall, these include the senior technical animator, build and release manager, senior network engineer, VFX artists, and environment artists.
It does come as a surprise that Respawn Entertainment is going for another Titanfall game especially after how Titanfall 2 suffered from disappointing sales. It is obvious that it was because the game’s launch was squeezed between the release of Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which was not a good idea at all, as it heavily impaired its financial performance. Even though EA still reaffirmed its commitment to both Respawn and Titanfall, most of us speculated that the Titanfall franchise was going to be put on hold at least for some time.
The listing for senior level designer requires someone who can “research subject matter relating to the design objective” and “own level designs from conception to the final stages of polish,”. The listing for senior network engineer states that the best applicant will “work with our designers to implement new systems.” And a senior game designer to develop “new gameplay events that keep the game exciting post-launch.”
As it so happens, two months ago, rumors had begun to circulate that Titanfall 3 is going to be scheduled for a release date somewhere in 2019. And EA revealed that Respawn has multiple games in the works as well and that these games will probably be released by holiday 2019. And it makes us guess like many, that Titanfall 3 is going to be among them.
