All you need to know!
While Universal Studios and 20th Century Fox may have reigned supreme in the world of cinema for decades, we are undergoing a shift and Netflix, the powerhouse that it is, has become a household name. Being a media-services provider and an internet entertainment service, this American based company was established back in 1997, when its initial business primarily circled around DVD sales.
However, it wasn’t until 2012 that Netflix’s career sky-rocketed and it began to offer a variety of Netflix Original content, and talking specifically about original feature films, the first one to come out was 2015’s Beasts of No Nation. After that, there was no stopping!
One after another, Netflix has provided its 130 million (paid) subscribers with enthralling movies which keep them hooked and keep them coming back for more. Last year we saw the Will Smith starrer Bright and then this year, the hype was all about To all the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and just as we know it, the sun of 2018 is setting upon us while we stand in awe of 2019 because let me tell you, it’s going to be one heck of a ride!
Right at the very beginning of 2019, in the month of January alone, there are more movies being uploaded on Netflix than we’d even have time to watch!
Here’s a run-down on the ones we at DroidCache think will be worth watching:

The Departed, January 1st
If you’re a Leonardo DiCaprio fan like me, then you’ve probably seen the masterpiece that is The Departed but if not, you can watch it on Netflix on January 1st!
And Breathe Normally, January 4th
Ísold Uggadóttir directs this drama epic, based on an Icelandic single mother facing ordeals like severe poverty, until her path crosses with that of a Guinea-Bissauan asylum seeker, who is caught up in problems of his own. Don’t forget to tune in on the 4th of January to find out how they overcome their obstacles.
Lionheart, January 4th
Good news for Jean-Claude Van Damme fans: The iconic 1990 film Lionheart is coming to Netflix on the 4th of January!

The very latest edition, Solo: A Star Wars Story, is coming to Netflix on the 9th of January and none of you should miss it!
Ant-man and the Wasp, January 29th
This 2018 American superhero film is sure to pack a punch as it’s a Marvel’s production and as all movie-junkies are well aware, they never fail to deliver.
The Incredibles 2: January 30th
When it comes to animated movies and specially those by Disney-Pixar, The Incredibles is always in my top 5! And if it’s the same with you then do catch the sequel on January 30th, only on Netflix.
Happy binge-watching!
