Instagram Stories is a favorite marketing channel for many marketers out there. Within a short span of two years, the feature gained amazing popularity. A recent study revealed that 41% of social media marketers prefer using Instagram Stories for their campaigns, compared to a mere 9% who use Snapchat Stories.

To help you make the most out of the Stories, here are some freshly rolled-out features that you should include in your Instagram marketing strategies.

Story Stickers

You can now connect better to your followers with the help of Instagram questions stickers. Launched in July, these stickers allow your followers to ask you questions through your Story.

They are a great way to build engagement for businesses. Followers can use them to inquire about ad campaigns, newly launched products, and so on.

Music Stickers

Music stickers are a great hit. They were released in July and allow users to play favorite songs in the Stories’ background.

This feature will not directly help brands in boosting their ROI, but it would surely add a pinch of spice to the awkwardly quiet Stories. This way, you can make them more entertaining and even play with your brand’s image.

Shoppable Tags

This recent addition to the Stories is definitely the major news for the e-commerce world. Instagram introduced shoppable tags in June.

With this feature, brands can label products in their Stories. Users, on the other hand, can tap on these stickers and buy the products from within the Instagram, without leaving the platform.

Brands can use these tags to highlight the recently launched products and boost conversation rates.

Share Feed Posts In Stories

Starting from May, brands can include the regular feed posts in Stories. This means that you can now easily include user-generated content from fans in your Stories.

However, there are a few limitations to this. You can only share posts from public accounts which have allowed other people to reshare and include their posts to Stories.

If you decide to do this, your Story will automatically feature the original creator’s username and a link to her original post.

It would not be wrong to conclude that Instagram Stories is a great marketing tool for businesses. This is the reason why various brands are using it on a daily basis.

Here is an insightful infographic which will help you understand the importance of Instagram Stories. Check it out.
